I work with Third Sector Partners, a boutique search firm which recruits senior management and board members for the social sector.
Third Sector Partners has been retained by Save the Children, Bal Raksha, Bharat (BR) to recruit their Director – Marketing and Fundraising.
Save the Children is the leading independent child rights’ organization: it fights for children’s rights and delivers immediate and lasting improvement to children’s lives worldwide. Save the Children has existed in India since the pre-Independence days. Save the Children, Bal Raksha, Bharat (BR) is the 28th independent member of the International Save the Children Alliance. The organization is working on 5 core issues in 12 states and union territories and has reached over 3 million children across India.
Save the Children, Bal Raksha, Bharat (BR) is looking for an exceptional individual to lead a public and corporate fundraising initiative nationally. S/he will need to build a marketing team and have the ability to develop innovative and successful donor development schemes that will generate an annual income of US$10 million by 2012.
S/he must have experience in systems and procedures required to support an ambitious marketing/fundraising initiative, developing and implementing marketing/fundraising strategy to raise substantial funds and an excellent understanding of direct marketing principles such as relationship marketing, customer care, and segmentation. The position requires proven leadership skills, tenacity, drive, and senior management experience.
The role will be based in Delhi and report to the CEO and contribute to organisational development across departments alongside the Senior Management Team.
